Privacy Policy
1. Introduction
Welcome to Math Forest (the "App"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use the App. By using the App, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy.
2. Information We Collect
The App primarily stores learning progress locally on your device, such as nickname, practice records, stars, and achievements. With your permission, the App may use the camera, microphone, and photo library for features like capturing math problems and recording explanations. Photos and audio are stored locally on your device. The current version does not require account registration and does not upload your practice data, photos, or recordings to our servers by default.
3. How We Use Information
Local learning data is used only to display progress, unlock stages and achievements, and improve your experience. When you grant network access, the App may load online content such as this Privacy Policy, the Terms of Use, and learning-related materials. We do not use the above information for unrelated marketing.
4. Storage and Security
Progress data is stored in local device storage. Sensitive items such as agreement consent and parental PIN may be stored using the system Keychain (iOS) for stronger protection. Please keep your device secure. Clearing app data or uninstalling the App may result in loss of local progress.
5. Children's Privacy
The App is designed for math learning. If you are a minor, please use the App under the guidance of a parent or guardian. Guardians may help manage app data on the device.
6. Policy Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will show a revised effective date in the App or on this page. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
